Supporting women and their families through pregnancy, labor and birth is my passion. I am honored to be part of this empowering intimate experience each and every time.
I graduated from Birthwise Midwifery School in 2013 after completing my formal midwifery education at Birthwise and clinical training at a free-standing birth center in New Hampshire. I have completed the National Association of Registered Midwives (NARM) requirements and passed the NARM exam to qualify as a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). My formal education also includes an Associates Degree in Nursing from Kennebec Valley Community College in 2008. I have 5 1/2 years experience working as an Obstetrical (OB) nurse in a small community hospital and I am certified in adult and neonatal resuscitation. Between in hospital and out of hospital, I have attended several hundred births.
I am the mother of three beautiful daughters. I enjoy knitting, gardening, raising Labrador retrievers, and spending time with family and friends.
